What DEED is and is not

DEED produces information, documents and records: analyses of contracts and creative work, minted Deeds, clearance reports, and electronic signatures. DEED is not a law firm, does not employ your lawyer, and does not give legal advice. When your situation needs a lawyer, we say so instead of guessing.

A minted Deed is evidence: a timestamped record of what existed, who claimed it, and who agreed to what. It is not a government registration and does not replace one. Signatures collected through DEED are electronic signatures. Their legal weight varies by assurance level and by jurisdiction, and we label each level honestly on the signatures page.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be 16 or older. Sign in with email and password or with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login safe and for everything done from your account.

Acceptable use

Only material you made, own, or have the right to submit. Do not upload work owned by someone else and claim it. Do not upload illegal content or malware. Do not probe, scrape, or overload the service, and do not use DEED to build records that deceive others about ownership.

Credits and payments

DEED meters usage in credits. Subscriptions include a monthly credit allowance that refreshes each billing month. Credit packs are one off purchases through Stripe. Purchased credits do not expire. The credits page lists what each action costs, and the number the page states is the number the system charges.

Prices are in euro and include VAT where the law requires it. Subscriptions renew until cancelled, and you can cancel any time. If you are an EU consumer, statutory withdrawal rights apply to digital purchases where the law grants them; by starting to use a paid feature immediately you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost for content already delivered, as EU law provides.

Intellectual property

You keep every right in the work and documents you upload. DEED receives only a narrow licence to store, process, and analyse them, and to display the public pages you explicitly mint. DEED keeps all rights in the platform itself: the software, the design, the register structure, and the DEED name and mark.

Disclaimers

Analyses are produced by AI. They are a reading of the material you submitted, not a guarantee about the world. A clean result does not prove you own something, and a flagged result does not prove you do not. External research actions search the indexes of the providers named on the privacy page; an empty result means that index found nothing, not that nothing exists.

Limitation of liability

Nothing here excludes anything the law says we cannot exclude. Beyond that, our liability for any claim connected to DEED is capped at what you paid us in the previous twelve months, or €100, whichever is higher. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or the decisions you make on the basis of an analysis.

Cancellation and account closure

Cancel a paid plan any time; it runs to the end of the paid period. Close your account from settings or by writing to hello@deed.rizzgroup.org. Closure deletes your content within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep.

Uptime and honesty

We do our best to keep DEED running. We do not guarantee it will never be down. When it breaks, we say so.

Changes

When we change these terms in a material way, we email you first. Continued use after that means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia and applicable European Union law. Where consumer law gives you a mandatory right to the courts of your country of residence, that right stands.
