THE RULES

TERMS OF
USE.

THE HUMAN VERSION

You can use Deed to analyse, mint and share ownership records for things you actually made or bought. Don't upload other people's work as your own, don't try to break the service, and remember Deed is a tool and evidence engine, not a lawyer.

Who can use Deed

Anyone 16 or older can create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login safe and for everything done from your account.

What you can put on Deed

Only material you made, own, or have the right to submit. Don't upload work owned by someone else and claim it. Don't upload illegal content, malware, or anything that violates another person's rights.

What Deed does with your material

We analyse the files and text you drop, store your Deeds and analyses in your account, and generate public verify pages for records you mint. We never train AI models on your documents, and we don't sell your data.

Ownership of your work

You keep every right in the work you put on Deed. Deed only gets a narrow licence to store, process, and display it to you and to the public pages you explicitly mint.

Signatures and records

Signatures collected through Deed are electronic signatures and are valid for most agreements in most countries. Deed acts as an evidence platform: who agreed to what, and when. Deed is not a government registrar. When an official filing matters, we tell you.

Fees

Free tiers stay free. Paid plans are billed monthly. Prices during early access can change; we'll email you before any change affects your account.

Cancellation and deletion

You can cancel a paid plan at any time. You can delete your account and everything in it from account settings, or by writing to hello@deed.rizzgroup.org.

Uptime and honesty

We do our best to keep Deed running. We don't guarantee it will never be down. When it breaks, we say so.

Not legal advice

Deed gives you information, documents and records. It doesn't give you legal opinions. When your situation needs a lawyer, we say so instead of guessing.

Limits

Nothing here excludes anything the law says we can't exclude. Beyond that, our liability for any claim connected to Deed is capped at what you paid us in the previous twelve months, or €100, whichever is higher.

Changes

When we change these terms in a material way, we email you first. Continued use after that means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union, with courts in your country of residence available where the law says so.
