You hand that to an authorised translator and pay for far less of their time.

Does Deed replace the original document?
No. A translation in Deed is always additive. The original text is shown first, verbatim and unchanged, and the translation appears beneath it with its own label. There is no view in Deed where a translation stands alone in place of its source.
Is a Deed translation certified or sworn?
No. Deed produces machine translations, reviewed by a person only when someone confirms them in the app. A sworn or certified translation must come from a translator authorised in the relevant jurisdiction.
Which language governs a bilingual instrument?
The one you choose and confirm before the document is produced. The instrument carries a governing language clause naming it in both languages, and both parties sign the single bilingual document.
What is recorded about a translation?
The source text fingerprint, source and target language, the engine and model, the timestamp, and who confirmed it if anyone did. Any translated block can show that record on demand.
When do I need a sworn translator?
Court filings, company and IP registry submissions, notarial acts, immigration files and most public procurement. Deed detects these contexts and offers to prepare a sworn translator package instead of pretending it can certify.
